Hi Friends of Stephen Smith 4 Congress,
7/1/12 – - Andrea, Jeannette, Ruth and I handed out flyers outside of St. Dominic’s Church in Eagle Rock today. The flyers contained information regarding Xavier Beccera’s voting record and support for abortion funding and partial birth abortions. These are records he likes to keep quiet about, but we were only too happy to share with the parishioners! The session went well. Most parishioners were happy to receive the flyer; many studied it as they walked away, others were going to take it home and read it, and some wanted to chat and learn more. We met several Republicans! We encouraged them to go to Stephen Smith’s website to find out more information.
We would like to cover many more Catholic churches in the district, as well as other denominations, as this is a great way to get Beccera’s dismal (and secretive) voting record information out to church-going district members who may find they disagree with Beccera’s consistent pro-abortion views. See or call Andrea if you would like to participate in one of these fun campaign events.
Coming up on July 4th is the reading of the Declaration of Independence at City Hall in downtown L.A. It takes place at 8:30 a.m., so rise and shine early and join us as we celebrate freedom and liberty for all!
The next gathering at Steve and Andrea’s house will be on Thursday, July 12th at 7:0 p.m., where we will meet to discuss upcoming events, volunteer opportunities and ideas to get STEPHEN SMITH elected to Congress, California District 34! Looking forward to seeing everyone at a volunteer event or meeting soon!
